Matrix Refractories Division and

Mineral Products, Inc. announce the introduction of a new insulating family of
products for heat containment and molten metal applications. The DRI-LITE®
(patent pending) family of light weight/low density, completely dry,
granular refractories are advanced technology products which require no water addition and
can be installed right out of the package in a completely dry state. A heat set bond is
activated upon heat up.
DRI-LITE® applications include safety
linings in aluminum and other non-ferrous melting and holding equipment. Another
application is its use as an insulating refractory in the flue walls of carbon bake
