| QUICK-STICK® is a complete family of patching products which
can be utilized in a wide range of refractory applications. The
QUICK-STICK®
product line contains unique and versatile refractory patching products for the aluminum
melting industry. QUICK-STICK® can be poured, trowelled, veneered or
painted onto refractory surfaces requiring repair. For large repairs that require
placement forms, our QUICK-FIRE® product line may be more
appropriate.
QUICK-STICK® technology utilizes a two component refractory
system which incorporates a dry refractory aggregate that is mixed with a proprietary
liquid bonding compound onsite. The resulting refractory has a consistency similar to that
of a castable which facilitates repair of thin cross-sectional areas as well as large
refractory segments.
Due to QUICK-STICK's® fast setting characteristics, high green
strength, and excellent adhesion; immediate dryout is possible. This results in rapid turn
around of metal melting and heat containment equipment requiring repair. Below are
